Faith Works

The Faithworks Campaign has become an annual tradition at All Saints’. Faithworks is a group of Community Ministries and Partners who, on behalf of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto, have made a commitment to support and serve our most vulnerable and marginalised sisters and brothers. These agencies are staffed by knowledgeable, caring and insightful staff and volunteers who understand the needs of the communities they serve. They offer safe places where needs are met and important services are offered. They offer places of sanctuary, where questions of the human spirit are taken seriously, and where faith-seekers are offered support, fellowship and educational opportunities.

Life is a journey. We are called to make that journey by helping one another along the way. Jesus said, “ I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly” [JOHN10:10] Because we are beloved children of God, we have been blessed with abundance. God asks us to seize every opportunity to welcome the stranger, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, comfort the sick and the lonely and have right relations with our neighbours. Faithworks is the vehicle that offers us the perfect opportunity to respond to his call, to modelĀ  Jesus example and live his mission in the world. I encourage you to read the powerful ministry profiles on the Diocesan website. It will help you understand the difference they make in the lives of the families in crisis, children, youth, women in need, immigrants, the homes, the unemployed, the imprisoned and those living in the developing world.
